2026 is already shaping up to be a busy year at GNAAS.
From physical challenges to fun-filled community events, we have plenty on the horizon and we’d love you to be a part of it.
Here’s a glimpse into what we have coming up so far…
Galentine’s Lunch
Date: Saturday 7 February 11am-3pm
Location: The Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle
Our Galentine’s Lunch is the perfect chance to gather your friends, colleagues or family for an afternoon filled with great food, wonderful company and incredible stories.
You’ll be welcomed with a glass of pink fizz before sitting down to enjoy a delicious two-course lunch.
We’ll be joined by a panel of inspiring women, including Dr Laura Duffy, the Red Shepherdess, Danielle Croce, and Clara Nicholl who will be ready to answer your questions.
There will also be a brilliant set of female-led stalls for you to browse on the day and entertainment provided by the talented Annabel Pattison.

Middlesbrough Half Marathon
Date: Sunday 1 March
Location: Centre Square in Middlesbrough
Lace up your running shoes and get ready to take on 13.1 incredible miles through the heart of Middlesbrough.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best or taking on your very first half marathon, every step you take helps raise the vital funds needed to keep our helicopters flying.
In exchange for your support, all our runners will receive a running top, fundraising pack, a fantastic cheer team on the day, and a post-race reception with refreshments to celebrate your achievement.
It costs £10 to sign up (£35 RRP) and we ask all of our fantastic runners to aim to raise £200 for our life-saving cause. Sign up here


Cleveland 4 Peaks – After Dark
Date: Friday 13 March 5.30pm
Location: Guisborough Forest Walkway & Visitor Centre
Ready to go exploring in the dark?
This unique,13.1-mile guided walk under the moonlight promises to be an adventure like no other. As the sun sets, you will explore our region under the stunning night sky, tackling four of the highest peaks in Teesside: Roseberry Topping, Captain Cook’s Monument, Codhill Heights, and Highcliffe Nab.
The sign-up fee is £25 and you will receive a fundraising pack which will include everything you need to know about this challenge.

The Unfaithfuls
Date: Friday 20 March from 6.30pm
Location: Rose Castle, Carlisle
When you sign up to The Unfaithfuls, you’re guaranteed to receive a full, Traitors-inspired experience that you won’t forget. As part of The Unfaithfuls event, you’ll receive a welcome drink on arrival, a two-course dinner prepared by Head Chef Noel Break, and a fully immersive themed experience with games, tasks, and dramatic reveals.
The standard ticket price is £95pp and you need to be aged 18 or over. Rooms at the castle are also available at an extra cost.

Bike and Classic Car Nights
Date: April to September from 5.30pm
Location: Progress House, Urlay Nook Road, TS16 0QB
Our Bike and Classic Car nights will return in the Spring, taking place every third Thursday of the month.
There will be refreshments available from our coffee house Hangar 63 as well as the opportunity to purchase merchandise.


Whirlybird Woof-Fest
Date: Sunday 24 May 11am-4pm
Location: Hurworth Grange Community Centre, Darlington, DL2 2BN
Get ready for a day of tail-wagging fun the whole family will enjoy.
Whether you have a four-legged friend or just love an action-packed family day out, this event promises pawsome entertainment, exciting competitions, and fun for the whole family!
There will be tasty food stalls, inflatables for the little ones, a fun dog show and so much more!

Jump 4 GNAAS Durham
Date: Saturday 8 August
Location: Sky-High Skydiving Durham
Are you ready to experience the ultimate thrill of tandem skydiving, all while supporting a cause that saves lives? Take on Jump 4 GNAAS in Durham!
Strapped to an experienced instructor, you’ll ascend to 13,500ft before taking the leap. You’ll fall through the air for 30 seconds, experiencing exhilarating free-fall speeds of up to 120mph. Once your parachute opens, you’ll gently descend back to earth, giving you time to take in the view from above. It’s the perfect thrill-seeking experience.

Jump 4 GNAAS Cumbria
Date: Sunday 9 August
Location: Skydive Northwest, Cumbria
Take on Jump 4 GNAAS in Cumbria and have an unforgettable tandem skydive over the Cumbrian countryside in support of our life-saving charity.
Securely harnessed to an expert instructor, you’ll soar to 14,000ft before making the ultimate leap. Experience the thrill of 30 seconds of free fall, reaching speeds of up to 120mph as you race through the sky. Then, as your parachute opens, enjoy a peaceful glide back to earth, taking in breathtaking views of the Lake District, Lake Windermere and Morecambe Bay.

Helifest
Date: Monday 31 August 11am-4pm
Location: Progress House, Urlay Nook Road, TS16 0QB
On August bank holiday 2026, we are hosting the event of the Summer, Helifest! Bring your friends and family to enjoy everything that GNAAS has to offer while bathing in the August sunshine!
This will be a family fun day filled with entertainment, music, crazy inflatables, local artisan stalls and a wide range of food vans to enjoy!


Great North Run
Date: Sunday 13 September
Location: Newcastle to South Shields
Whether it’s your first time on the start line or you’re a hardcore harrier, we would love to have you on Team GNAAS at the Great North Run.
Follow the 13.1-mile route from city to coast, crossing the iconic Tyne Bridge alongside athletes, celebrities and 57,000 fellow runners.
After crossing the finish line, you can relax at our charity marquee with friends, family and your GNAAS teammates.
Charity Places are available for £65 and we ask you to pledge £325 minimum in sponsorship. Buy your place here
